The MP2600 series stations are general purpose radio telemetry stations providing bi-directional analog and digital wireless links.
The hardware is expandable using modular circuit boards to give the required I/O. The firmware is configured at the time of manufacture to give the necessary responses.
Solar or wind
powered operation is feasible for any outstation not equipped with
4-20mA analog
I/O.
Outstation scanning is employed from the base station, sub-networks within the main network can be accommodated where necessary.
The stations are housed in IP65 enclosures, the number and dimensions of enclosures are dependent on the internal hardware. The general arrangement is with the electronics in the top half and terminal rails in the lower half accessible from a separate lid.
Various radio systems are available depending on the application. The standard radio system is licence-exempt in Europe.
