Ease of Installation - Installation and calibration is carried out by front panel switches - No need for screwdriver adjustments inside. Negative tide heights are no problem.
High Performance - The pressure sensor output is repeatedly digitised. Software damping removes the effects of waves without loss of accuracy. The mean tide height is displayed on an LCD, output on the RS232 port and transmitted over the radio to the receiver. Comprehensive error-checking is included on radio transmissions.
Low Power Consumption means Battery, Solar and Wind Power are realistic alternatives to mains powering.
Multiple Outstations - Up to eight sites can be automatically monitored with one receiver. The latest data from each outstation can be selected on the receiver. A flashing display warns of old data.
Relay Stations can easily be added later if the local topography prevents direct radio reception.
Options include Transmitter Battery Monitoring, Wave Height and Period Measurements, Land Line Communications and Analogue Outputs.
